I was given the opportunity to flex my skills to help create the cover to QAI’s Quest magazine. The client wanted something that showed the focus on nature while also featuring Atlanta. I really enjoyed the research I had to do for this project and having to find the right text and color combination that worked. In the end, the client was very pleased and even had me look over the interior of the magazine to make sure it worked with the over all theme.
I enjoy projects that have a personal meaning. For this client they wanted to create a christmas postcard that featured their son with missing teeth. They already knew what the text should be and what color scheme they were looking for. I help to pick the boarders, font, and touched up the photos for print.
For many years I worked in the contracting field. Most of the work was sent from government agencies. The worked involved everything from editing photos, recording and editing audio, creating animated features, editing video, 3D modeling, and creating 2D assets to be used in e-learning programs. There were many hats to wear including that of being a team leader.
I love to create! Currently I have been working on my artistic skills both digitally and and classically. My favorite medium to work with at the moment would be copic markers! I specialize in drawing creatures, but I am also working on perfecting people.
